A forest is not simply trees; it is a dynamic interaction among soil, climate, organisms, nutrients, and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hypothetical systems genius would possess an extraordinary ability to perceive these relationships simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Objects to Networks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consider a city&#8217;s traffic problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A conventional approach might ask how to build more roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A systems thinker asks why congestion exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More roads may encourage more driving. Instead, they would construct probability-weighted futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That distinction is crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complex systems are often chaotic.
